Abstract

Gender equality aims to eliminate gender discrimination, create equal opportunities for men and women in all fields, and create momentum for socio-economic development. In Labor, gender equality is also not outside of eliminating discrimination. Gender-based treatment provides equal opportunities, conditions, and benefits based on working capacity, not gender differences, between male and female employees in labor relations. Therefore, ensuring the principle of gender equality in labor relations Labor is one of the leading policies of the Vietnamese State in the labor field. It is not only to protect the rights of female employees but also a policy towards sustainable and comprehensive national economic development, contributing to ensuring social security for the country and integrating with the international economy. Through the study of Vietnamese labor law and comparison with US labor law on female employees, the author will present a viewpoint to perfect Vietnamese labor law on female employees.
